From the afternoon of April 20 to the evening of April 22 the Moon, transiting the Fire Signs of Sagittarius, will form many harmonious angles with the cluster of planets in Aries, while Venus will begin the same trend, lasting a few weeks for her, when entering Aries tomorrow. These configurations will prove particularly positive for Fire Signs people (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius), and also for the Mutable Signs of Gemini (by opposition), Virgo and Pisces (by square), the latter having to work a bit harder to receive the Fire gifts of hope and enthusiasm.
Hopefully these transits will help to lift the general mood that has been marred lately by the hard aspects of Mars, in particular the recent opposition to Saturn in Libra (exact on April 19). We can’t forget also that the Sun is moving on the same day from Aries to Taurus, a yearly shift of collective consciousness, that should be helping anyway to re-orient ourselves with the moving season.
The positive Moon’s series begins with the mixed blessing of a square to Neptune in Pisces and trine to Uranus, happening only three hours apart, in the evening of Wednesday April 20. Tossed here, there and everywhere by the difficult Neptune transit we may feel, at first, emotionally lost and lacking the sense of direction needed to center ourselves. This mood will be soon followed by a mentally and emotionally stimulating transit, through which we may gain instead a greater sense of clarity and detachment. The Uranian transit could encourage us to embrace changes that we may, at other times, consider too difficult or too drastic. A desire for new things, new relationships and greater freedom will be our guide, fostering unusual and interesting encounters with strangers, or new dimensions of relationship with people we already know.
On Thursday April 21 the Moon will form a harmonious sextile (60 degree angle) to Saturn in Libra, channeling Sagittarius wishes and aspirations into practical molds, gently helping us to land back to earth after the Uranian flights of the previous day . A bit later the Moon will also trine Mercury and Mars in Aries, energizing our minds and bodies, with positive thinking and the desire to put our thoughts into action, great stuff if you need to accomplish a lot in a short time.
Early on Friday April 22 (Good Friday) the Moon will also trine Jupiter, expressing through this transit the most far reaching, optimistic and philosophical traits of Sagittarius, Jupiter’s own Sign.
Well, a bit of good news, I felt we could all do with some.
